Daniel Wolff has always had a love for music, a passion for people of other cultures, and, most importantly, a strong faith in God. Born and raised near Seattle, Washington, Daniel is the youngest of four sons. Music was always a big part of what was going at the Wolff's home - besides singing, sounds from a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, guitar, or piano might be heard, sometimes late into the night. One of Daniel's brothers, Joshua, is now a professional jazz pianist and singer. Another, David, is a classical pianist and conductor.
Challenged by his older brothers' successes, Daniel set goals for himself in many areas. He played the trumpet in the jazz bands in middle and high school, and sang in the jazz choir. At the age of twelve he developed an interest in the piano and soon began writing original compositions.
At thirteen, Daniel spent the summer with a Japanese family near Osaka. He attended a Japanese middle school, learning a little of the language and a lot about the people. Excited about his international experience, upon returning, he began to study Spanish. Whatever free time he had, he worked on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. He listened to Spanish music and read from a Spanish Bible. Daniel had a growing desire to learn more about Mexico; so, when he was fifteen, his family allowed him to spend nearly a year in Guadalajara. There was a very loving Christian family there that his brother and mother had met during a previous mission trip. They graciously let Daniel stay with them, and he attended a year of high school while there.
During Daniel's stay in Mexico, he learned to play the guitar, and led worship whenever given the chance. Upon returning to the States, he and a friend formed a Christian musical guitar duo called "Statement of Faith." They recorded an album of original music, performed at various concerts, and went on two tours to California.

After obtaining an Associate of Arts degree in college, Daniel then moved to New York City, where he earned his living doing legal proofreading at a large law firm. During off hours, he would sometimes go down to the subway stations to play his guitar and sing, evangelize, or draw people's portraits. He became involved with Times Square Church headed by David Wilkerson. They have an inner-city mission called Harlem Square Church dedicated to working with the youth of Harlem. Daniel helped with the music and ministering to the kids.
As time went on, Daniel began a long distance relationship with Flor, the beautiful daughter of a pastor in El Sabino, a small village near Guasave in Mexico. They were married in early 2001, and then made their home in Mexico City for three years. Daniel earned a living there by manufacturing and selling leather products in the Zócalo (city center). Daniel and Flor became very involved with their church, helping out there, and in other churches as well, in whatever way they could. During the end of their stay in Mexico City, he recorded his current album "Gracias a Él."
Daniel's spiritual walk has taken him to various corners of the world, including Russia, Mexico, Japan, and Italy. Daniel and Flor currently reside in Marysville, Washington (near Seattle). They have two daughters: Emily, age 4; and Grace, 2. Daniel is on staff as the worship director at First Baptist Church in Marysville. He also performs evangelistic concerts for the Hispanic community in Washington. Daniel plans to expand his ministry to Mexico and farther, into Central and South America. Throughout all of this, Daniel gives all of the glory to God.
